As a member of the Delegated Authorities and Compliance Team, the purpose of this role will be to process Regulatory, Compliance and Audit requirements in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols. Specific duties to include:-

Audit

  • Liaising with the auditor and Coverholder to confirm audit dates
  • Reviewing audit report and recommendations; liaising with the syndicate relative to any inaccuracies
  • Forwarding recommendations to the Coverholder with appropriate comments and if necessary guidance
  • Ensuring recommendations are complied with in an appropriate time frame.

Compliance

  • Processing information on Atlas such as Coverholders annual compliance and updating financials and licences for all Coverholders
  • Researching websites to obtain Coverholder licences
  • Annual compliance return processing for all Coverholders/PINS at various times when falling due with Lloyd’s
  • Coverholder applications – assisting the applicant with their application in terms of reviewing it in preparation for it being reviewed by the sponsoring MGA and Lloyd’s
  • Client and Market TOBAs
  • New Clients due diligence and New Market due diligence

Previous experience in a compliance / regulatory role within the London Insurance market is essential for consideration in relation to this role – ideally with some exposure to USA and Canadian Binder business.
