Our client is looking for an experienced IT Technician with fluent Spanish and English language skills to join their London Office. The purpose of the role is to provide bi-lingual First and/or Second Line technical support to the company’s London and Manchester offices and the commercial team on hardware and software (approximately 30 users), including configuring various applications, providing training and creating manuals for internal use (Microsoft Office, Telephone systems, google suite, etc.).

 

 Specific responsibilities will include:

 

  • Troubleshooting and resolving any PC, Printer, Telephone, User problems and Networking issues
  • Developing and maintaining MS Access applications.
  • Maintaining Service Level agreements and contracts with third party suppliers, reporting errors and follow through to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Maintaining the inventory of computer/printer consumables to ensure that adequate levels are maintained, and no interruption is caused by lack of equipment or consumables.
  • Testing of new and existing systems before general roll-out to ensure that applications are usable/correctly functioning for our business needs. Reporting in Spanish to various departments in Head Office and UK suppliers in English with enough technical detail to find and fix errors.
  • Various reporting/data analysis tasks - converting data taken from our systems and converting/creating ad-hoc reports using this data on a regular basis as requested by the Claims and Underwriting Manager, Accounts/HR Manager and creating documents for board level meetings.
  • Supporting/deploying/organising new hardware solutions with the help of Head Office.

 In addition, the ideal candidate will have CISCO experience and be highly competent in Excel, Access and other Microsoft applications.
