Do you have experience in North American claims and are you looking for a progressive opportunity with a well respected specialist Lloyd’s Broker? If you are then we would like to hear from you. 

The main purpose of the Senior Claims Broker is to receive all claims, to document and analyse accordingly and manage their lifecycle to conclusion in the interest of clients both on an individual basis and contract basis. Ensuring claims are handled promptly and efficiently adhering to Lloyd’s minimum standards while establishing and maintaining relationships with our insurance markets.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Gather claim correspondence and store to create complete claim files.
  • Provide brokers and directors with up-to-date claim records and figures.
  • Enter claims advices and settlements on in-house systems; Lloyd’s and Company market systems such as CLASS & ECF.
  • Liaise with system companies for claims data and functionality.
  • Constant liaison with markets with regards to claims handling.
  • Ensure settlements are dealt with promptly and that Third Party Administrators have sufficient funding to honour claim settlements month by month.
  • Claims personnel visits – set up meetings with brokers, directors and markets.
  • Contribute to business development with recommendations during marketing and renewal meetings.
  • Manage and influence written claims reporting procedures.
