Salary: £35,000.00 - £40,000.00  Per Annum

Job Description:

 

 You will be managing the delivery of complex AV projects, attending sites and design team meetings, and involving some travel. Your responsibilities will include: Client Liaison, Planning, Technical Design Implementation and the Co-ordination & Management of Projects, ensuring financial targets are met.

 

You will manage relationships with both internal and external clients, ensuring projects comply to the functional & technical performance specification of the system design, as well as to the high quality & standards demanded by the company. You will have responsibility for project cost control and process periodic valuations & applications, as well as producing management reports.

 

 

We are looking for highly motivated and dedicated individual who is resourceful, self-motivated, flexible and has the ability to handle rapidly changing workloads and challenging tasks. Possess an aptitude and strong passion for new technology ensuring a strong grasp on the subject. Experience in product operation and installation in both residential and commercial environments.

 

It is vital that this candidate can manage an AV project end to end. They should be able to design a system manage the install with UK & abroad contractors. They should have existing relationships with suppliers to manage stock.

 

Special qualifications: 

 

Working knowledge of all audio-visual fields: sound, lights, projection, technological devices, etc. Should also have the ability to recruit and train staff, the ability to work with departments that may use the audio-visual staff to assist with their events, and working knowledge of accounting and an understanding of marketing techniques.

 

Experience: 

 

Prior experience working in the audio-visual, sound or lighting industry is required. The nature of prior experience will be a factor in the length of time required in this work environment.

Skills: 

         Proficient user of all Windows and office based products.

         SAP for stock inventory, movement, order processing and forecasting.

        CTV interfaces via the internet. Knowledge of compTIA networking+.

         Audio Visual control systems including Crestron, AMX, Netlinx, Netstreams, Control4 & Bitwise.

         Video distribution systems including Extron, Channel+, IPTV (exterity) Speaker Craft, Video over

       cat5 systems; voip and video conferencing by Tandberg and Polycom.

         Touch screen remote control programming of Pronto's, Nevo and RTI handsets.

         1st fix skill, Rack build looming and terminations of BNC, Mini D-subs RCA and RJ plugs

         The ability to draw or load schematics
