Do you have what it takes to oversee the daily housekeeping challenge of a 400 bedroom luxury hotel? As Assistant Housekeeping Manager at one of Europe’s finest golf, leisure and business resorts, you will thrive on the buzz and excitement of this prestigious venue, facilitating the daily operation of the busy housekeeping department.

 

Responsible for assisting with the management of uniforms, bedrooms and checking of VIP arrivals, you will also contribute to department strategy through support and implementation of directives set by the Housekeeping Manager and Executive Housekeeping Manager.

This crucial role calls for a talented all-rounder with a passion for the luxury hotel industry and a proactive, results-orientated approach.

 

As well as recruiting and training team members to perform their roles to the impeccable standards required, you will also demonstrate the ability to lead and inspire, providing monitoring and coaching as appropriate to maintain the exceptional standards of service and high morale of this team of approximately 60 people.

Your strong housekeeping management background, exceptional customer and interpersonal skills and experience of working in a four or five star environment will ensure that you have all the skills necessary to deal with the pressures of day-to-day housekeeping issues. Knowledge of the Opera computer system would also be a distinct advantage. Ideally you will have experience of working with volume - 300+ bedrooms and international experience would be a distinct advantage.
