Job Description:

Bubbledogs is seeking a Head Chef for its fun and fast-paced Fitzrovia restaurant.

 

Bubbledogs and Kitchen Table, located in Fitzrovia, were opened by husband and wife team, James Knappett and Sandia Chang (both previously at Noma and Per Se), in 2012. Unlike most Champagne bars, at Bubbledogs you can explore exclusive grower Champagnes, sourced directly from the producers, whilst sinking your teeth into a selection of American-style hotdogs - made from our own recipes - with globally inspired toppings.

 

As Head Chef, you will take the lead in the running of the kitchen, inspiring the team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes and creating innovative dish concepts. There will be ample opportunity for you to develop your career within the restaurant as this growing business.

 

Our kitchen brigade is a small and friendly team and the menu offering is simplistic, yet commanding superior execution; therefore this role is suited to a talented Sous Chef who is seeking an exciting new challenge and responsibility for a kitchen operation.

 

If you have the following, then we want to hear from you:

  • Experience as a Sous Chef in a high volume restaurant;
  • A hands-on approach to your work;
  •  Previous experience leading a team and proven leadership and training skills;
  • A passion for food and delivering high quality dishes;
  •  An innovative nature, keen to design and create interesting new menu concepts;
  • Working knowledge of stock and margin controls, ordering systems and health and safety;
  • Excellent time-management and organization skills.
