Seva Care is a leading specialist care provider known for its forward thinking and innovative services for those with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We provide residential, respite, supported living and day care services to our clients.

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The domiciliary care manager will either be registered or working towards becoming a registered care manager with CQC. They will maintain high standards of person centered support and work towards ensuring high levels of quality at all times. The successful individual will be operationally responsible for all services within the agency. They will also identify new business opportunities and support the business development team in delivering growth across the agency.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DUTIES

  • The ability to be able to multi-site manage across NW London boroughs.
  • Manage both accommodation based support (Supported Living) and outreach support packages in the community.
  • Good understanding of different S/L models including quality standards such as REACH.
  • Ability to be able to manage complex rota’s that include both accommodation based support, floating support and outreach.
  • Assessment of service users prior to offering a service.
  • Assessing the viability of a package based on hours, travel distance and staffing requirements and manage to stay within budget.
  • A good understanding of the role of the support provider and landlord.
  • Identify and promote new business opportunities.
  • The ability to write positive behavior support plans.
  • Promote good and best practice at all times and keep updated with all changes in legislation

 

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

  • Registered CQC manager – or able to demonstrate the necessary skills to be registered with CQC.
  • Management experience within the domiciliary care sector.
  • Experience working with adults with LD, complex needs and behavior that may challenge.
  • A current British driving license and own vehicle.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the care sector, families and clients.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent people manager, open to direction, has collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active in seeking out answers.
