Salary: £50,000.00 - £60,000.00  Per Annum

Job Description:

Introduction As the Head of Sales you will provide unrivalled understanding of the mobile phone retail and distribution segment. Reporting into the CEO, and collectively setting the strategy you will have an exciting opportunity to develop both your commercial and technical skills in an established market environment. The Head of Sales will be in charge of developing and managing the existing sales team as well as implementing a business strategy to further stimulate our client’s already impressive growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of strategic, insight lead, sales plans that deliver company profit targets and set the future direction for existing sales team.

• Lead business development work within the sales team, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and give clear guidance and leadership to drive sales in line with growth plans.

• Co-ordinate recruitment of new staff whilst working closely with the CEO of the business, to design and put into practice more efficient sales and marketing processes.

• Co-ordinate with the Product and Marketing heads to execute effective product deployment and launch strategies.

• Collate industry data, feedback and client sell outs in order to feedback for Marketing and PR.

• Perform weekly sales meetings to include setting goals, timelines and performance for the sales team

• Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of internal protocol and procedures.

• Have the ability to approach and present to senior and decision-making management.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

• Head of Sales to have experience of running a successful Sales team, excellent at training, recruiting and motivating for a sales team to succeed.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to grow sales within a volume based sales environment.

• Experience in business development and leading a team.

• Minimum 5+ years in mobile accessory / devise distribution / manufacturing.

• Proven track record in achieving sales targets.

• Ability to speak at client events, challenging opinion at a board meetings and strong presentation and communication skills.

• Ability to negotiate new and existing business.

• Must be organised and timely in sales execution.
