treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.

The Hospital is a specialist provider of complex mental
health services, providing clinical excellence in our eating disorders,
adolescent, and rehabilitation units. Our new Acute opened April 2016
services patients with severe mental illness in acute phase, also dual
diagnosis and complex patients. We also have our Psychiatric Intensive Care
Unit (PICU) opening in June 2016.

Our Client is currently seeking to recruit the following Speciality Doctors:

1 x Acute ward for 18-25 year olds– 37.5 hrs per week Mon – Fri; 
no on call commitment.

1 x CAHMS – 18.75 hours per week; working days can be negotiated; 
no on call commitment.

1 x Eating Disorder Unit – 18.75 hours per week; working days can be
negotiated; no on call commitment.

Training opportunities and study days will also be provided.

Our Acute unit cares for 18 - 25 year olds who have severe and critical
needs. Our aim is to work quickly to assess their needs and give them the
care they need to enable them to go back into the community.

Our existing CAMHS units comprise of a six-bedded HDU and a 16 bedded
ward both of which provide first class patient centred care for the young
people we support.

Our 8 bedded Eating Disorder Unit offers specialist therapy programmes
which work in conjunction with the individual to tailor care plans for each of
our patients.

The successful candidate will possess an MBBS qualification or equivalent
and will be required to maintain full registration with the General Medical
Council (GMC). You will be able to demonstrate evidence of foundation
training and competencies (or equivalent) including experience of working
within the field of psychiatry. Experience of working within an acute setting
and as part of a multi-disciplinary team would be advantageous as this role
will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team.

Benefits include annual leave entitlement of 33 days (includes 8 bank/public
holidays), with additional leave for long service and a contributory pension.
