Job Description:
Our Client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and
highly motivated Software Developer to join our team in the continued
development and support of our client’s related software platforms.
Annual salary : GBP £25,000.00 £35,000.00
JOB DESCRIPTION
A Software Developer is now required to join the Agile team, working on a variety of market-leading products. As a software tester, you would be developing the application as per the clients requirement and make sure that the high level of accuracy and security is maintained once the software has been developed.
This role would also involve the interaction with the business Analyst so that the exact and accurate requirement should be gathered and developed on the basis of gathered information. In this role a high level of proactiveness is required in order to develop the software. Continuous improvement in the process would be required to working closely with the other developers. Close working would be required with other software developers in order to develop a powerful software. Attending the sprint meeting along with the whole team would be required to discuss the overall progress of the software development process and problem faced if any to find the solutions of it.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Designing, developing, integrating, testing and debugging applications,
principally in C++/Java
• Frequently using Scripting languages such as Python and Ruby.
• Evaluating and identifying new emerging technologies and developing
innovative solutions.
• Working both independently and within a wider team with minimal
supervision.
• Integrating new software with existing systems.
• Developing new cutting edge products.
• Providing strong technical leadership.
• Strong development experience - whether that in be Java, C++, C#, Python
etc.
• Experience of Go development (possibly as part of a personal project)
• Desire to work for an early-stage start-up and be highly influential in its
future success
• Strong hands on development/programming skills using either; Python,
Ruby, Perl, Java etc.
• Experience or interest in infrastructure or network systems, including
automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
• Exposure to Django would be beneficial but not essential
• Interest in Open Source projects; a bonus would be if you have been an
Open Source contributor
OTHER SKILLS
Strong communicator. Self-motivated, focused and possessing good time
management. Ability to influence others. Ability to learn quickly, be self-driven and to work well across teams, disciplines and cultures. Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment, and to manage own work assignments and schedule, multi-task, and re-prioritize assignments as priorities shift. Passionate about work and learning new things. A full British Driving Licence would be an advantage
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
For up to 8 hours per day, you must be able to utilize fully standard computer equipment, required programs, phone, and office equipment. You must be able to lift and carry a laptop computer.
