Our services range from PCB assembly right through to complete product build, including full functional test.
Senior Test Solutions Engineer

This person will operate as the organisations test solutions liaison with the customer, producing technical test routines for their products. To create Labview programs and test scripts. To enable test equipment to communicate to one another and digitally record readings taken while completing the necessary testing.
Key responsibilities
Manage numerous technical solutions projects for a range of customers and support them by providing a technical test interface around new and existing products.
Be the focus for test schedules and test arrangements including the provision of appropriate test equipment for all new or updated products.
Reduce test times for current test regimes such as chassis test and PCBA testing by automation of the test routines with Labview and create National Instruments' LabView and TestStand test solutions.
Create scripts for boundary scan test programmes and utilise JTag as a fault finding tool.
Build customer relationship through client / supplier visits. Be the main contact for the development of test solutions.
Support test engineers (where necessary) with deeper analysis leading to the repair of goods within the required timescales.
Undertake test and repairs of faulty electronics, RF circuits up-to 7GHz and PCBs. Conduct fault finding down to component level on digital analogue and RF products.
Read schematics and use a wide range of test equipment including spectrum analysers and power meters.
Complete relevant project plans and work in line with the customer requirements.
Other requirements
Able to communicate at all levels both internally and with customers externally.
Capable of suggesting and delivering test related efficiency improvements.
Knowledge, training and qualifications
Educated to HNC level or equivalent in electronics.
Experience of electronics manufacturing and test.
Ideally experienced in JTAG, XJTAG, TestStand and LabView to certified Labview Associate Developer level (CLAD).
Experienced in managing a small team of test engineers.
