Job Description:
A well-established firm is offering an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor/ Chartered Legal Executive to progress their career in its busy Non-Contentious Department in March, Cambridgeshire by providing the right candidate with a fast-track path to becoming a Director of the Company.
The Role
This role is for a Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to handle a mixed caseload of files including all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, Wills and Probate files. They will ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on costs, whilst exercising high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner.
In addition the role requires someone to supervise, support and develop immediate support staff and fee earning staff as agreed with the Head of Department.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in the required areas of law and will possess good technical skills.
They will have the ability to deal with clients in a sensitive and professional manor.
They will be able to use their own initiative to work on their own in order to meet agreed levels of billing and time recording whilst also helping others to contribute towards the department’s goals.
They will be willing to get involved with the management side of the company and will actively promote the services of the practice and its image and ethos.
